SINEAX CAM

SINEAX CAM-POWER is designed for measurements in electric distribution systems or in industrial facilities. Its modular design allows it to be adjusted to individual applications and information requirements in an optimum fashion.

The high-performance measuring system is capable of determining the current network state, additional load by non-linear consumers as well as the overall load of the supply system. Consistent measurement also guarantees that every network change is reliably acquired and included in measured data and extreme value storage. The basic accuracy amounts to 0.1% (U, I) or 0.2% for other variables. The programmable acquisition period and the high sampling rate make the device also suitable for the acquisition of special input signals with variable sampling intervals (e.g. zero-crossing controls), altered sine shapes (e.g. phase-angle controls) or strong distortions. The optional I/O interface may be individually adjusted to all requirements. Up to 4 groups of terminals are available. One of 5 possible functions may be assigned to them respectively.

Optional components

Modbus/TCP Modbus/TCP is a commonly used protocol for an easy access to configuration or measurement data. It is supported by a large number of visualization software tools and thus allows a fast implementation of the device. For the time synchronization of devices via Ethernet, NTP (Network Time Protocol) is the standard. By means of NTP all devices can be used with a common time base.

IEC 61850 The CAM with IEC 61850 support is a measuring device which bases on the use of conventional current and voltage transformers. The CAM not only provides measured data of the monitored system. It may be used as well as an IEC 61850 gateway. By means of GGIO instances state information (e.g. ON/OFF or a self-monitoring signal), analog measurements (e.g. a temperature) or metering pulses (kWh/kVArh) of non IEC 61850 capable external devices can be handled. These measurement data then can be accessed via the IEC 61850 interface.

Datenlogger The data logger allows performing long-term recordings of measurement progressions or load profiles. In addition to the recording of mean values, fluctuations of instantaneous values may be registered. By means of the automatic meter reading a time synchronous reading of the meter contents of all devices may be performed, e.g. on a weekly, monthly or three months base. These values can be stored for any desired time, thus allow determining the energy consumption per time for billing purposes.

Listen Lists allow a chronological recording of events, alarms and system messages. Each change of the system state and each access to the device can thus be reproduced and analyzed at a later time in a correct sequence.

Display The display is intended for the visualization of measured data and entries of the alarm, event or operator list. Also state information or measurement information of the I/O interface may be displayed. The user can customize the display almost freely to his individual needs.

Display Rogowski coils can be fitted easily and quickly without the need to open current circuits and can cover a wide current range using switchable ranges. They can transform fast-changing currents and harmonics much better than conventional current transformers. Rogowski coils are suited for low voltage applications up to 1000V, where an accurate analysis of harmonics resp. system feedback is needed or for test facilities where the device under test is changed often.
